Have you ever wondered if stuntmen can get term life insurance? You would think that that term life insurance companies would avoid stuntmen like the plague. Stuntmen put their lives in danger every single day. They jump from buildings, are thrown from horses, beat each other up, and run cars off of cliffs. This type of behavior probably doesn't give stuntmen good odds on a living a long life.

...Just Not Cheap Term Life Insurance
As you can imagine, everything has its price. Stuntmen can get term life insurance policies just like anyone else, but they will definitely pay higher premiums. Bruce Lee, probably the most famous stuntman of all time, had term life insurance. His death was very mysterious, because it was officially diagnosed by doctors as "death by misadventure." This vague cause of death was supposedly used to avoid issues pertaining to Lee's cannabis use, because his term life insurance policy had some restrictions on drug use. Insurance companies have gotten wise when it comes to those in the film industry, however. Sometimes they'll specifically state that they will not be responsible to pay a life insurance claim if an actor dies from injuries related to performing movie stunts.

How Can You Find Affordable Term Life Insurance?
For starters, if you're worried about paying too much for term life insurance, don't become a stuntman. Your occupation definitely is a factor in determining term insurance rates. Other factors include age, sex, lifestyle, and medical history, among others.
